Hospitality Ministry
The Music Ministry of Sixth Mount Zion celebrates worship music of all genres: from the anthems, hymns and spirituals to the old and new gospels, contemporary praise worship music and mime.
Our ministry includes our PraiseTeam, a youth choir named The SonShine Voices, a contemporary singing group called Reflections, a Male Chorus and the Mass Choir which includes the members of all the mentioned groups.
Our mime group, known as Reflection of God’s Children, ministers at Sixth Mount Zion as well as other local churches throughout Greater Pittsburgh.
We also host music workshops that are instructed by locally and nationally known facilitators for singers, choir and choir directors and musicians in our area.
The Sixth Mount Zion Music Ministry performs many styles of scripturally sound worship music. Its primary purpose is to celebrate our God through music and to give Him all the glory and honor due Him, in the song and the dance.
